Introduction

This blog will be dedicated solely to the adventure I'm currently embarking upon.

I could be living in France in just two weeks time!

A decision will have to be made in the next days whether or not to follow my dream or stay here in Texas and tend to my father who just lost his wife of 56 years.

In the past, my last minute adventures have always proven to be worth the risk like when I packed two bags and went to San Diego with $300 in my pocket to live on my friend Julie's floor. Now I have four years of amazing memories and countless great friends because I took that chance.

Hopefully, my dad will respect the decision that I'm about to make because, in the words of Helen Keller, "Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing." Plus, being the romantic that he proved to be when he whisked my mom off to Mississippi to wed when they were just teenagers and selling his spare tire to pay the judge, I'm sure that he'll understand the lengths you'll go to when you're in love.


The Road Not Taken

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,

And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
